My Story

Brighton Marathon, 12th April 2026

Rugby has been a huge part of my life, but in 2024 I had to make the difficult decision to step away from the game after a series of concussion injuries with my last full season of playing coming to an end in 2022, at 23yrs of age.

As a way of giving back to the game that provided me with so much I have decided to run and raise money for the RFU Injured Players Foundation. The foundation provides immediate and lifelong support to rugby players who, while playing rugby union in England at any level and at any age, sustain a catastrophic spinal cord or traumatic brain injury which results in permanent disability. The help extends not only to the players themselves, but also to their families, clubs, and teammates as they adjust to life after the players injury. From rehabilitation through to long-term independence, the foundation are there to ensure injured players and their loved ones get the guidance and support they need. Please check out their website, www.rfuipf.org.uk.

If the cause resonates with you as it does with me, please help me in raising vital funds to support England's injured rugby players as I train and prepare for Brighton's 2026 Marathon.
