My Story
As a long serving community responder for the ambulance service I've seen first hand on numerous occasions the benefit of having such a specialist life saving team being available to serve our community.
Having done my first ever half marathon last year progressing from my regular 5k Parkruns on a Saturday morning to 10k's I've now accepted the challenge of taking on 26.2 miles at the Brighton marathon on Sunday 12 April 2026 to help save lives across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex.
Here's how you can you join me, and KSS, in the fight to save lives:
- £45 could pay for a set of defibrillator pads, to help resuscitate someone in cardiac arrest
- £34 could buy a set of ventilator tubing, used to help a child breathe when anaesthetised
- £20 could buy a vital kit used to drain blood or air from a patients injured chest, allowing their lungs to work properly
Your support will help save lives. Thanks in advance for your donation.
