My Story

In July 2022, I lost my mum to renal cell cancer, just 8 months after her diagnosis and less than a month after she turned 60. It was fast, cruel, and it changed everything.

She was my biggest fan and supporter, and I know she would be so proud that I am running my first marathon in her memory.

Nearly 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime* – and I don’t want other families to go through what we have gone through. That’s why I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.
